First National Bank DeRidder recently made a generous contribution to the Beauregard Health System Foundation’s Here for Life fundraising campaign.
“We deeply appreciate the spirit of generosity of First National Bank DeRidder and its support for the Beauregard Health System and the Beauregard Health System Foundation.” said the Beauregard health system.
Currently, the Beauregard Health System Foundation is focusing its efforts on building a brand new state-of-the-art emergency department.
The new emergency department, which will be located north of the existing facility and contiguous to the existing hospital, will benefit from an improved design focused on workflow, safety and patient experience.
This project will double the size of treatment rooms, offer contemporary designs for nursing stations, provide separate entry points for infectious diseases and separate space for mental health patients, all improving quality, safety and patient experience, right here in the parish of Beauregard.
Did you know that the current BHS emergency facility was built to accommodate approximately 13,000 to 14,000 patients per year?
And BHS currently serves more than 20,000 patients per year.
The new facility design takes into account current capacity and takes into account growth capacity and projected needs in the future.
This gift, and others like it, big or small, will turn into tangible health care benefits for our entire community for years to come.
