There will be no regular mail delivered on Easter. Only Priority Mail Express and Amazon packages (Prime members only) are delivered on Sundays.

Some supermarkets will remain open or have reduced hours, while some will be closed. Buyers should ultimately check with their local supermarket for specific information.

- Acme (7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.)
- BJ’s (varies by store)
- Foodtown (varies by store)
- ShopRite (varies by store)

NJ Transit, PATH and SEPTA operate on their regular weekend schedules.

Are New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission locations open on Easter Sunday?
Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) offices will not be open on Easter Sunday. Online processing of certain documents is available on the Motor Vehicle Commission website.
Additionally, all New Jersey state offices and courts will be closed.
Are the scholarships open on Easter Sunday?
The New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq are closed on weekends, whether it’s a holiday or not.
