Results of the 2nd year of Karnataka PUC 2021: Karnataka Minister of Primary and Secondary Education S Suresh Kumar and Director of the Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE) Snehal R today announced the results of the II PU. “We had decided not to hold exams for II PU students keeping in mind the Covid-19 situation in the state,” Kumar said. Students can check their results on the official website – karresults.nic.in.

The DPUE has put more effort this year than the same to evaluate the articles and announce the results obtained in any other regular year. Formulating an overall score for each student was a tedious process that was done with care, ”said Minister S Suresh Kumar.

The state government of Karnataka had decided to promote all applicants without taking exams, following the Covid-19 situation. While the same was only announced for freshmen (new entrants), it was later extended to students enrolled as repeaters, including those who also repeated as private applicants.

The government has decided to award 35 percent of grace marks to candidates who repeat the jury’s exam. Over 76,000 candidates who registered for the exam this year fall into this category.

Results of the 2nd Karnataka PUC 2021: when and where to check

Students can check their results on the official websitekarresults.nic.in. To check Karnataka PUC 2021 results online, students can visit the official website karresults.nic.in and click on the result link available on the home page. After logging in using credentials, the result will appear on the screen. Students are advised to download and, if necessary, print the results score sheet.

To check the results by SMS, students will need to send the message KAR12 at 56263. Students can also get the Karnataka Board 2nd year PUC results through the online portal SuVidya.

Last year, the overall pass percentage was 69.20 with Science at 67.28%, Commerce at 65.52% and Arts at 41.27%. Among the districts, Udupi had overtaken in 2020.

Over 5.95 lakh students had registered for the Karnataka 2nd PUC Board 2020 exams. The PUC exams took place from March 4-21, 2020, but the last exam, which was scheduled to take place on March 23, was postponed to due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown that followed. The pending document then took place on June 18.

In 2019, the overall success rate was recorded at 61.73%. Among the streams, science students had a pass rate of 66.58, commerce, 66.39 and the arts, 50.53 percent.
