Farrar Limestone is an Ancaster limestone quarried at Glebe Quarry, Lincolnshire and is available in Hard White; which is a creamy  white in colour or Weatherbed, which is a beige and blue in colour.

It can be used for all aspects of masonry work including new build and restoration as well as for internal work and flooring.  It is a widely known limestone and has been used on buildings for many years; the earliest known use is 1920.

Over the years Farrar Limestone has been used for many high profile projects including:

  • Lincoln Cathedral
  • Newark Castle
  • Kings College, Cambridge

The stone won three awards at the 2010 Natural Stone Awards.
