Woodkirk Stone Sales are delighted to have supplied the stone to Park Place, Henley-on-Thames Britains most expensive home.
The house recently sold to an unidentified Russian buyer for a record £140m
The 30,000sqf mansion is set in 20 acres of park land and includes listed monuments, coattages, stables and a boat house.
Park Place backs on to the Thames river and dates back to the early 18th century, it was once owned by Frederick, Prince of Wales and eldest son of George II. Rooms still have the original stone fireplaces and stained glass windows. The ghost of Mary Blandy, who was accused of poisoning her father in 1752, is said to haunt the grounds.
Woodkirk supplied paving, masonry and slab but many aspects of the house and gardens.
